Personal Description:
I was a founder member, drummer and co-songwriter in Dodgy, which achieved considerable success, selling over a million records worldwide.
I have played and recorded with many other acts including The Lightning Seeds, Ian Mcnabb and The Icicle Works, Gene, Electric Soft Parade, Yellow Moon Band and Sgt Peppers Only Dart Board band.
Besides private tuition, I have worked at various institutions mainly with children with social, emotional and mental health issues. Being around musicians for 30 years has given me a unique set of skills to deal with people like that.
I specialize in teaching beginners and people with SEMH issues but welcome drummers of all ability. I can teach grades if you want but it's not necessary.

Tutoring Experience:
20 years teaching privately + I teach at a school for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Tutoring Approach:
Very much student led. I encourage them to do as much by themselves as possible. I prefer to teach keen students. It's supposed to be fun. I don't like not having fun.
