Personal Description:

Marco is a friendly, dedicated and caring clarinet and saxophone teacher with more than twenty-five years’ experience. If you are looking for someone who can help you to make excellent progress by giving you the best advice whilst having fun learning and performing a variety of exciting music, you are in the right place.
He studied both in Italy and in Germany, where under the guidance of Hans Deinzer and Eduard Brunner, two of the most renowned performers and clarinet tutors worldwide, he obtained his Postgraduate Certificate in Music Performance with Distinction.
As a professional clarinettist, he then freelanced both in Italy and the United Kingdom, performing with orchestras such as the OSN RAI (Italian National Radio Orchestra), the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, Lancashire Sinfonietta, and the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company amongst others.

Tutoring Experience:

Marco teaches in primary and secondary schools in the North West of England, as well as privately from his music studio at home. He also teaches adults of all ages and abilities. Online lessons are available too.
The inspiring and thorough work he does with his students has allowed them to obtain high marks in ABRSM and Trinity music exams and diplomas as well as in the performing element of GCSE, A Level and IB exams. Many of them have become members of prestigious youth orchestras, including the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain, Hallé Youth Orchestra and National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. Some of his students were also offered places to study at the Royal College of Music, RNCM, Birmingham Conservatoire and Leeds College of Music.
