Personal Description:
I am a Piano, Keyboard, Vocal and Music Theory tutor based Surrey and Hampshire.
I am hugely passionate about music and music education and absolutely love to see students progressing and improving but most of all, having fun!
Tutoring Experience:
Over my 15 years teaching I have put many students forward for ABRSM, Trinity College and Rockschol exams achieving a 100% pass rate. Whilst practical exams provide a concrete framework and goal to work towards, they are not for everyone!
I have taught in Primary/Junior and Secondary Schools as well as visiting students at their home.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to think I am a fun and friendly teacher. I have students aged 6 to 75 and can adapt my approach to the individual student. No two students are the same and we all learn in different ways. As a teacher, it is vital to establish that understanding to ensure each student maximises every lesson.
