Information About Lindsay - Thornton-cleveleys teacher

Personal Description:

Adult and children beginners to diploma level students welcome.
I teach from my Piano Studio in Cleveleys.
My qualifications include MA in Music, BMus (Hons) PGDE in Secondary Education (QTS). I am also Certified Piano Tuner and Technician (CPT).

I am insured as a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and have an up to date DBS.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught piano privately, and full time, from my Cleveleys based piano teaching studio for five years, as well as teaching and accompanying in local primary schools, in Blackpool since 2013.

Prior to setting up my piano tuning and teaching business, I gained valuable teaching experience as a secondary school music teacher, where I taught GCSE Music and A Level Music and Music Technology.

Tutoring Approach:

My teaching methods are inclusive and tailored to the individual’s needs and musical interests - from complete beginners, to adults, and advanced.

I believe it is important that all lessons have a sense of purpose and relevance to the individual’s interests.
