Personal Description:

Linda and professional name goes under Linda Angelis is a professional singer and musician for over 20 years now living in Telford. Has toured worldwide as a singer/ entertainer playing both trumpet and ukulele banjo for Cunard and casinos in Portugal,Malta and London. Her versatility attracted attention from after entertaining the troops invited to sing at Prince Charles private party in recognition for her good deeds. This followed with a tour supporting Des o Conner.
Linda studied at the Royal Northern college of music in Manchester privately with Delci Tetsal and has grade 5 practical and theory associated board.

Tutoring Experience:

Linda has taught singing to all stages and styles for over 20 years. Her speciality is light pop, jazz and swing for performance. However her interest is also teaching for therapeutic reasons having studied natural medicine and how singing can treat general stress and heal on a cellular level. This special area of music therapy was noticed by the NHS. They since employed Linda to both perform for arts4health on the wards and singalong with dementia patients as recognised learning an instrument excellent for memory recall. Linda teaches all styles of ukulele from George Formby on ukulele/ banjo to pop music and currently teaching musical theatre part time at Telford music school.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is always to look for the positive in the student and bring that out as a facilitator. I can back pupils on piano for beginners or use backing tracks for pop/musical songs etc. My intention is to assist the student in fulfilling their full potential without putting pressure on them to pass an exam, unless wish to.
