Personal Description:

I discovered my singing talent as a little girl performing in front of the mirror. Then I did my best to receive a good music education starting with youth choir, going through solo singing in a high school of arts in my hometown and finally graduating in bachelor and master in the National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria. During my university studies I participated in various classes including performing in the operas “The Magic Flute” and “The Marriage of Figaro” by W.A. Mozart. To further my education even more I went to Germany and Italy to explore the difficulties of learning and singing in another language. I end up with several conclusions: the best teacher in the city is not necessary the best teacher for you; if you know the language, most of the vocal problems disappear; what you consider your disadvantages may actually become your advantages.

Tutoring Experience:

After twelve years of exploring my voice I discovered my teaching talent by sharing with others. Students begun searching my help and opinion, as it turned out I have the ability to listen and explain well. Tutoring Approach:

I begin my lesson with warm up and technique exercises which I play on the piano and the student follows. If it’s necessary I do pronunciation and breathing exercises. Then I work with singing material (songs and arias) and pay attention to the problem places. My orientation is mainly in classical female and male voices.
