Personal Description:

Kianush is an experienced and professional Classical Guitar Tutor, trained at the Royal Welsh Conservatoire of Music where he graduated with a 1st class with honours, with several years of teaching experience privately and in schools. He is currently teaching at the Royal Grammar School High Wycombe and runs an adults-only private practice. Alongside this, he founded the Hertfordshire Classical Guitar Society in 2018 bringing professional performers from around the world to Croxley Green. Kianush is able to teach all levels of Classical guitar playing specifically for adults.

As a recitalist, Kianush spends most of his time performing at the Hertfordshire Classical Guitar Society and for local venues around Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Kianush was awarded the grand prize in the John Mills Guitar Award and has performed around south wales in Swansea guitar society, Cardiff guitar society and in many other venues. He has also participated in masterclasses with John Williams, Julian Bream, Graham Devine, Gary Ryan, Zoran Dukic, Eduardo Catemario and many more.

I provide a balanced approach to technique, music interpretation, and aural/theory skills all of which are developed in tandem with each other. Everything we learn must have a practical application and I aim to deliver the lessons in a way that ties in all these aspects with the goal of providing a comprehensive and detailed development structure for the aspiring pupil. A strong classical foundation will provide a solid grounding in guitar practices and will encompass skills which are easily transferable and beneficial to other guitar styles like electric and acoustic!

4 years of private tuition teaching adults and children of all levels

My teaching is specially designed for ADULTS ONLY. Together we will explore the best repertoire and learn to read music and understand the fretboard so the playing is fun, rewarding and beautiful.
