Information About Katarzyna - Guildford teacher

Personal Description:

I am a professional classical violist who graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London obtaining Bachelor and Master Degree in Music Performance. I participated in music masterclasses in many European countries, such as Hungary, England and France.
For many years I have been working with the orchestras and musicians from all over the world. For over 4 years I have been a mamber of Hungarian Sinfonietta performing with the Moscow City Ballet and Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet as a leader of the viola section, performing across the UK.
I am a current member of Graffiti Classics - all strings project that bends the boundaries of the traditional String Quartet with its musical comedy cabaret show performing across the world.

Tutoring Experience:

I have started my teaching practice in London, where I gained experience in such institutions as Soundheart Ltd. and Junior Music School in Canary Wharf, as well as being private violin and viola tutor for several years, with my pupils successfully passing the ABRSM exams.

Tutoring Approach:

I recently completed Postgraduate Pedagogy - Teaching Diploma in Poland entitling me to conduct classes with children and youth. It supplements to my previous teaching experience as well as deepens my understanding of historical and educational knowledge. It all makes me reflect on new ways, designing and applying new techniques in an educational process.
