Personal Description:

I am a professional very highly qualified and experienced singer with over 40 years experience. I have my own band, and have sung locally, nationally and internationally. I am also a songwriter and play piano and guitar. I have released 2 albums and have a considerable online following.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching rock, pop and musical theatre for a number of years. One of my students recently achieved a scholarship to study at AMDA in New York. I have a diploma in Music and a BA Hons in Humanities with music. I have worked with the top rock and pop voice coaches in the UK, and have attended specialist rock and pop vocals teacher training courses. I also run a zoom choir and put on regular professional shows where my students can perform. I have a fully equipped studio with high end recording and mixing facilities and the ability to record video onto green screen for further editing.

Tutoring Approach:

I offer bespoke lessons to professionals and beginners alike. I can take a student through musical grades or offer assistance in artiste development in such areas as projection, breathing, belting, rock vocals, musical theatre and expression. I teach stage craft, mic technique, monitoring technique and movement. I am passionate about singers using the correct support and subscibe to Estill and CVT techniques. I do not teach under 12's. I have access to professional recording studios, and also teach vocalists requiring assistance with studio work. I have a home studio and can teach via zoom.
