Information About Joseph - York teacher

Personal Description:

13 years of teaching experience. Aside from teaching guitar, I play guitar and keyboards in Shed Seven.

Tutoring Experience:

Now in my 13th year of teaching, I have experience of teaching students of all ages.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that it's much easier and more enjoyable for students to learn songs, solos and riffs by their favourite artists, so the lessons I give are specifically tailored to reflect each student's taste in music. Chord sheets and tablature sheets are created by myself to meet each individual student’s specific needs and tastes.

In addition, all students are provided with audio tracks which they practice along to outside of the lessons. Although my approach to teaching guitar differs from the more traditional route of taking grades, I focus heavily on developing technique and learning musical theory, all within a realistic learning curve.
