Tutoring Experience:

As a fully qualified teacher coming from a classroom teaching background, I have extensive experience of helping learners of all ages – from young children to adults – to get as much as they possibly can from their learning, try their very best, and by doing so unlock the potential they have to achieve their goals. One of the most rewarding and fascinating aspects of being a teacher is matching teaching and learning strategies with the individual personality, needs and interests of each pupil; a good teacher must always be a good learner. Above all though, learning (particularly something taken up as a hobby) should be fun, and this is where my experience as a primary class teacher comes to the fore (yes, even with adults!).

Tutoring Approach:

I try to make my teaching as dynamic, engaging and varied as possible so that every single learner comes away feeling not just motivated and excited about where they are going with their learning, but a real sense of pride at the many milestones they reach along the way.
