Personal Description:
Graduate of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and The Royal Northern College of Music. Professional Freelance Violist with the UK's finest orchestras, some including The Halle, The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, London Mozart Players. Having a broad knowledge of music and the ability to teach multiple instruments allows me to provide a well rounded approach to music.
Tutoring Experience:
Having over 15 years experience of teaching all age groups, abilities inside and outside of the classroom as well as experience of teaching pupils with special educational needs. I feel confident in helping all achieve their potential.
Tutoring Approach:
I approach music with a historical and socio-political spin, allowing context of time era and challenges to bring the music to life and allow a deeper understanding and appreciation of all that goes into music preparation and performance.
