Personal Description:
Having started cello lessons when I was 12, attending the Nottinghamshire music school as a special tuition place holder every Saturday morning,
I passed Grade 8 with Distinction and followed it a year later with a diploma under my cello teacher, Anna Shuttleworth.
Music has always been part of me and my life, something I have always loved and enjoyed passing on to others.
Tutoring Experience:
I am a Licenced Music teacher for Kent and Medway, where I teach cello, recorder and beginner violin to primary school pupils as well as students from a couple of Medway Grammar Schools and a school in Sittingbourne. I also teach on Saturday mornings at a Music Centre in Medway as well as privately, my eldest being 72 years young!
Tutoring Approach:
Although I am a firm believer in home practise, I like to make all my lessons fun.
