Personal Description:
I love helping my students discover their love for music, and teaching them in a way that is unique and tailored to them. I have 10+ years of teaching experience including drums, piano, and music theory. I graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Music and Performance in 2013 and have since been making a living in the music industry teaching, examining, gigging and as a session drummer.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught students of all ages privately and as a peripatetic music teacher for 15 years across a variety of schools, colleges and music schools. This has included running samba bands, helping students with their GCSE and A-Level qualifications, and bringing students through studying music at university.
Tutoring Approach:
I am professional, friendly and reliable, and care deeply about helping you reach your musical potential. I have developed my own drum syllabus for students, available for free download on my website. This includes a huge library of resources and drum transcriptions readily available to use in our lessons if desired.
I am able to teach ABRSM, Rockschool and Trinity, but am also happy to keep it casual if all you want to do is learn your favourite song!
