Personal Description:

I am a professional guitarist and singer. I tour extensively in Europe and the UK acoustic scene. I have taught for 16 years. I have a limited number of guitar students from beginner to professional. I teach in my recording studio. Students are able to enjoy an uninterrupted professional learning experience in a relaxed environment.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach students of ALL levels. I adapt my lessons to suit the needs of each individual. I teach basic chords and strumming patterns for beginners through to advanced techniques in lead and rhythm. I make sure my students anjoy what they are playing. My lessons are equally focused on music making and technical ability. My areas of expertise are rhythm, finger style and lead guitar in the genres of Pop, Singer-songwriter, Folk/Celtic, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and Gypsy Jazz. I am a well experienced accompanist and can teach the correct approach to playing while singing and techniques for backing up the voice and other instruments.
