Playing in various bands from a young age I have wide knowledge of Electric Acoustic, Folk, Pop and Rock. I have played at festivals, competitions, weddings, function gigs and tours and solo performances all over the UK.
Playing on the main folk circuit in Derbyshire I have played in many venues with many different performers. From impromptu duets to rehearsed ensembles. Playing with so many artists has taught me how each artist is an individual and requires an individaul approach to work with. I bring this to my lessons to cater for my students independand needs and learning preferences.
Tutoring Experience:
Over my four years of teaching I have worked with students with a wide range of abilities from ages 5 up to 70. I have an up to date enhanced DBS Check. I currently work in schools around Leicester and the "Soar Valley Music Centre". I also provide lessons for "Your Guitar Academy".
I have put students through graded exams as well as providing casual lessons for students wanting to excel in their hobby.
