Personal Description:

My name is Jack. I have been a professional singer for thirty five years. As a young man I studied with the renowned Dublin-based singing teacher Veronica Dunne. My debut was characterized by the Irish Times as 'stunning'. After a year in the R.T.E Chamber Choir I was a freelance principal singer before joining Welsh National Opera where I have worked ever since; my current job includes singing principal roles and chorus work.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching privately for ten years; I have had a couple of students who went on to follow principal careers.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is student based (it's not about me). I teach breathing as fundamental and build layer by layer. I want to encourage singers to improve. I also teach singers with vocal problems how to overcome their problems.
