Hi, I’m Isabelle! I am a friendly and supportive teacher based in the Isle of Dogs, London with years of experience teaching students of all ages and standards. My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, so whether you're looking for lessons for an exam or just for fun, get involved!
I have been playing Flute and Piano for almost 20 years and have performed with orchestras including London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Swan, and BBC National Orchestra of Wales. I hold a Master of Performance in Orchestral Artistry with Distinction from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and a first-class Bachelor of Music with Honours from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
I have won many awards through my career, including the 2022 Sir Ian Stoutzker Prize, 2023 British Flute Society Competition, and most recently in the Blue Riband Prize final at the 2024 National Eisteddfod.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught flute and piano for over 6 years and take such joy in guiding my students through their musical journey. I am very happy to prepare students for ABRSM exams from grade 1-8 and have a 100% pass rate. For casual learners, I have a wide variety of resources to discover your instrument and explore classical music.

Tutoring Approach:
Having had many teachers in my musical career, I have been exposed to many different styles of teaching. This has helped me to develop a style that I feel is fun yet productive.
