Personal Description:
I am a professional musician who has been playing the viola/violin for 20+ years. I hold a Masters of Performance from the Royal College of Music as well as a BMus(Hons) from TLCMD. I enjoy meeting new students and helping their talents and skills flourish! Here's a little bit about what I do outside of that…… I frequently play on the West End on Les Miserables and Lion King. I am also a regular player and educator with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra, most recently for the west end premier of Figaro: An Original Musical (London Palladium) as well as a few other productions including Chess in Concert at the Theatre Royale, Drury Lane.
I frequently play with the Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra, Brixton Chamber Orchestra, Scherzo Ensemble and Resonate Chamber Orchestra. I’ve also just finished playing with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra for their career accelerator scheme where 1 musician per instrument was selected to play alongside in the orchestra for a year as well as put on their own chamber works concert series and perform in various locations around Birmingham, including the CBSO centre.
I enjoy recording with musicians from all over the world and and of all genres. Most recently I have recorded for the Citizens of the World Choir, a few video game soundtracks and The Last Dinner Party’s most recent album (to be released in October this year). My self released album, ‘to care’ with the music collective I founded, was also featured on the BBC News.
