Personal Description:
Based in South Bucks/ South Herts. Lessons and workshops take place mainly in my home and local schools I work with students on a number of key areas as well as piano technique:
pre-instrumental learning (Foundation and Early Years music)
practical musicianship
music theory and literacy
improvisation, harmonisation and composition
Grade exams for ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall

Tutoring Experience:
Twelve years experience in piano teaching; 17 years career experience in general education.
Tutoring Approach:
Exploring areas such as improvisation and composition will encourage you to develop all-round musicianship. I will also help you to develop your music reading and appreciation skills through your own playing and through your wider listening. I will encourage you to play music in a variety of styles including jazz, popular and classical.
