Personal Description:

As well as 20 years teaching experience in and out of the classroom, I’ve had extensive industry experience in all genres of performing and my passion exudes in every area to help inspire students.

I have performed all over the world in many bands as lead singer. In venues such as Royal Albert Hall, The London Palladium, The NEC, The Brighton Centre and worked as a session vocalist with Sony records and Acid Jazz records.

I have also had extensive professional dancing experience on TV mainly for BBC Strictly enterprise to choreographing European tours and Music videos for the likes of Anne-Marie, Timberland, Kanye West, Flo Rida.

I also co-own a talent agency and have recruited musicians and actors into TV commercials, series, films and Music Videos.

I owned 5 part time performing arts schools with 244 students but sold the company to take time out for myself for a year whilst I travelled.

I love children and I love anything performance related.

I hope my passion for Performing and teaching is infectious as we work together to achieve your goals.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching Music since 2001. I am Head of Music and Performing Arts responsible for 1200 students progression.

From state school, to grammar and private school students. I have taught in the classroom and 1-2-1 tuition to an array of different children mainly in England but also in Paris, Sydney and Malaysia.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to teaching Music would be based on the individual needs of the student and be tailored to their requirements. Whether it is for pleasure or for grades, we will work on technicality, skills and confidence building to unlock the voice.
