Hi, I'm Fennella! I offer a unique learning program tailored to each students' individual interests and specific vocal needs.

Tutoring Experience:

I've been teaching contemporary singing since 2014 when I graduated from Goldsmiths with a degree in Popular Music. I work with absolute beginners, right through to experienced performers and songwriters, and am happy to teach people of all ages. I've worked as a secondary school music teacher, and primary music specialist, and am currently privileged to work as a voice teacher with two musical theatre schools, and am also a choir leader - I'd love to put my extensive teaching experience to work with you!

Tutoring Approach:

PRACTICE PROPERLY
Unlike other instruments, the voice is delicate, and rehearsing for half an hour a day can seriously damage it, especially if the singer is inexperienced. I will help you to tailor a rehearsal plan that will both suit your vocal needs and fit into your schedule. I will also send you weekly lesson notes and exercises, so that you always have something to reference while practicing.

TRAIN WITH A PROFESSIONAL, BECOME A PROFESSIONAL
I am a professional freelance singer, songwriter, and musician, I am happy to give any advice I can on; finding a band, self promotion and gigging. I can also offer support in songwriting, overcoming stage fright, and getting the most out of your voice when working with a band.

CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
I teach people of all ages and offer specialist teaching for musicians, helping them to nurture their love of playing and singing. Young students will have the opportunity to learn new songs from around the world, as well as singing tunes they know and love. I incorporate music theory into fun singing games so that your child has the best possible start.
