Personal Description:

I am a fully qualified teacher providing high quality trumpet, piano and music theory tuition to students of all ages and abilities.
I graduated from the Royal Northern College of music in 2014 with a BMus (Hons) first class and completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education in 2016. As well as having experience in professional orchestral trumpet playing, I have worked as a classroom teacher for eight years.

Tutoring Experience:

I have several years of teaching one-one pupils from ages 7 - adult, as well as eight years of classroom teaching. Throughout my career as a teacher I have completed serval professional development courses in learning and cognition. I have undergone years of research to understand and practice the most effective teaching approaches and how to adapt these to suit the needs of different learners.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a huge passion for music education and know how learning a musical instrument develops confidence, self-esteem and well-being, which I strive for all of my pupils to achieve. I provide a learning environment which is fun, personalised and supportive.
