Personal Description:
Having began studying music at the age of 3, it is something of a second language to me. I grew up in a very musical household and was always immersed in it.
I studied piano, violin, viola and music theory in Cork College of Music where I was consistently awarded scholarships. I completed my grade 8 in each by the age of 17. I then continued my piano studies in the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin where I became a young scholar. I completed nationally and internationally adding numerous accolades to my belt. Piano became the focal point for me and I was chosen to be on the Irish Program for Gifted Pianists.
During this time I also studied Process and Chemical Engineering in University College Cork, where I graduated in 2022. I moved to London to work as an engineer soon after I graduated and am eager to incorporate music in my London life.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught piano since 2016. I began as a practice buddy, where I helped young kids to practice between lessons, and then began teaching.
Tutoring Approach:
I am passionate about music and want to spark a love for music in others. My goal is to bring out the best potential in students through encouragement and skill, while still maintaining a positive environment.
