Personal Description:

A Holistic approach to teaching piano,
1-2-1 or in small groups using innovative methods
Experienced working with children aged 5-18
Especially those with SEN particularly dyslexia/concentration etc… Also experienced working with Adults
I’m happy to work within schools/alongside other musicians

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught piano privately and at local schools/ music schools with ages ranging from 7 to 40+.
I run my own music workshops and hold music concerts for my pupils to perform in as well as helping to run other musical workshops at various schools and other venues around Staffordshire.

Tutoring Approach:

My skills lie in communicating my love of music both in one to one lessons and the class context. I understand the need to be particularly aware of individual learning needs and how to accommodate my teaching accordingly, while emphasising the enjoyment of music at every level rather than merely coaching students to obtain academic qualifications for their own sake.
