Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Dean **Removed By Admin** and I am an experienced clarinet, saxophone, vocal, and music theory online teacher.

Tutoring Experience:

My experience of music education includes classroom music teaching, workshop leading, and private tuition. I have taught a wide range of ages and abilities, including complete beginner, in all disciplines offered. Furthermore I am familiar with a wide range of genres (classical, jazz, musical theatre and popular) and the appropriate exam syllabuses should you, or your child, wish to gain music qualifications.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to create a friendly and supportive atmosphere in lessons. I thoroughly prepare students for examinations and encourage students to develop and test their own interpretative ideas. I am also very interested in the treatment of music performance anxiety/'nerves' and have conducted my own research as part of my degree into pedagogical techniques which may enhance and increase the student's confidence.

I am currently only taking online pupils at the moment. I have experience and am comfortable using online teaching platforms.

Please note that by engaging me to teach you agree to the following cancellation policy. If a pupil wishes to cancel a lesson they must do so within 24 hours. If a lesson is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the pupil will still be charged for the lesson. It is acceptable to cancel lessons with less than 24 hours notice due to unforeseeable circumstances. Unforeseeable circumstances include: sudden illness, injury resulting in hospitalisation, and bereavement.
