Personal Description:

Hi! My name is David and I am a Swedish Cellist based in London. Having grown up in a family of classical musicians, I developed a passion for the art form early on in life and began to play the cello at the age of six. I have pursued a career as a classical cellist which lead me to complete my Masters at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and win a position as a cellist in Southbank Sinfonia (**Web Address Removed**).

When I was growing up my mother was head of the music teacher education program in Royal Music College in Stockholm Sweden, so teaching has always been a part of my life. I began teaching the cello when I started my undergraduate degree in classical cello performance and have been teaching since. I recently worked as a deputy cello teacher in Sweden for two months at a highschool similar to the Menuihn school in the UK, and during my time at Soutbank Sinfonia I worked in education and outreach workshops led by Wigmore hall. I also performed in several side-by-sides with schools such as Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School.

Kind regards,
David
