Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Damien. I have been playing the guitar for over 20 years and I have constantly been developing my technique and creativity. I see the guitar and music as an extension of myself as I have been able to express myself through this medium.
I have played in various bands and projects over the years and gained amazing stories and experience in the music industry which I enjoy sharing with aspiring students.
I am an easy and outgoing individual with a burning passion for music which I hope to share with you.

Tutoring Experience:

Since I have completed PostGCE for Young People and Adult Specialists at Newcastle College, I have developed more effective teaching methods and improved my teaching. I always make my lessons clear and instructive with an achievable goal for the lesson. Using individual lesson plans which are designed with the student each student has a tailored plan for what they want to achieve.

Tutoring Approach:

My passion is music and performing guitar to a very high standard. I have been playing for over eighteen years and have been continuously developing my skills with the instrument throughout. I have been teaching since 2014 with students achieving Rockschool grades and becoming professional musicians.
I currently work at a Secondary School which allows me to continuously improve my teaching practice and develop effective resources for learning.
I have a professional home studio that allows me to deliver high-quality online lessons to you in the comfort of your home. In-person lessons will experience professional-quality recordings and reflect on their playing with your own copy of your performance.
