Personal Description:
I really enjoy teaching piano and music theory and have over 20 years teaching experience.I have previously taught primary eduaction and led choirs , recorder groups and small orchestras within the schools .I am a member of Independent Society of Musicians.
Tutoring Experience:
I teach from home in a music room. I specialise in teaching children and nervous pupils . I enter pupils for ABRSM examinations with 100% pass rate mostly at merit and distinction level. Pupils can also learn to play just for their own enjoyment without taking exams.
Tutoring Approach:
i have a classical background but teach most styles including pop. I aim to bring every pupil to a place where they can read music for themselves .Enjoyment is key and every lesson is tailored to the individual needs of the pupil.
