Personal Description:

Chris first started taking acoustic guitar lessons aged 15, and began to teach himself electric guitar after hearing Joe Satriani's 'Flying in a Blue Dream' for the first time.
He was driven to master all facets of the instrument to become the skilled and original guitarist that he is today.

His early influences also include Boston Rockers Aerosmith, Riff-Meister Led Zeppelin and Rockers Guns N Roses as well as Flamenco Guitarists like Paco De Lucia or Sabicas, Middle Eastern and Country & Western music.

As a recognized product specialist for the US music instrument company Line 6, Chris did many clinics and demos at trade shows and fairs across Europe (Germany, Austria, France, Belgium and the UK) performing to tens of thousands of people.

Chris has contributed the gripping ballad 'Love And Let Die' to the exciting compilation CD 'Shrouded in Sound – New Guitar Music For A New Decade' that features cutting-edge artists from around the world, creating electrifying new music for an equally thrilling new decade.

He has also released instructional material for guitarists such as 'The Essential Guide To Alternate Picking' – Book/E-book (available on Amazon) and the DVD 'Taking The Lead – Picking Techniques and Strategies for Lead Guitar'.

In addition he has also several published articles on famous artists and their equipment.

I currently offer guitar lessons in Coventry and each student is treated as an individual… not the usual “one-size-fits-all” approach. I teach exclusively from my home studio in Coventry, West Midlands.

The studio is equipped with everything you will need…amplifier, music stand, recording equipment, etc.
