Personal Description:

Experienced, enthusiastic and supportive piano tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

I taught piano privately in London for 14 years, and in St Ives, Cornwall for 7.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach all levels, children and adults. It is important to find the right music to suit each pupils tastes and needs while offering as wide a knowledge as possible of different styles and periods of music. These interests often include Classical, Contemporary, Jazz, Blues and Pop.
I like to give my pupils as much confidence and encouragement in their playing as possible. I also encourage improvising and composing so the child can play more freely and explore creative possibilities.
