Tutoring Approach:

I like students to learn by being deeply involved in lessons, with lots of playing, practising and performing. I use a wide variety of approaches to appeal to all learning styles and personalities. I enjoy using technology in lessons and in between lessons so that students feel continually supported and able to get the most from their lessons.

Students will be able to play on acoustic and electronic drums, as well as practice pads and I support lessons by modelling exercises, as well as using video to help explanations. I developed Gigajam's interactive practice, play along, recording and analysing software, which provides students with immediate feedback on how to improve, as well as the ability to store their performances of exercises online in their own ePortfolio online.

Students will get free access to my online Music School at **Web Address Removed**, so you can continue your practice and studies in between lessons. The online music school contains, detailed narrated lessons, music graphics, videos, and audio online player for each exercise as well as interactive software.

I use the Essential Drum Skills Course as the basis of my teaching, but mix a wide variety of materials chosen to personalise lessons to the students specific style and needs.
