Personal Description:

I studied music at Kneller Hall Royal Military school of music. I was with The Kings Shropshire Light Infantry Band as a solo instrumentalist for 12 years.
I am an active professional musician and have played at many functions, weddings , private party's, corporal functions, jazz clubs etc. I have a vast experience in the music industry. I have also written books on jazz improvisation and studies for the clarinet, saxophone and flute.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught for nearly 30 years at Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar School and Tonbridge Girls Grammar school. one to one, with excellent pass marks in grades with Trinity College and Associated Board Royal School of Music . I teach both classical and jazz studies. I also play piano for accompaniment during lessons. I now concentrate on teaching at home, where I have all the modern facilities for making the lessons more interesting and fun.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to make my lessons as enjoyable as possible, I encourage my pupils to play with school ensembles, and older students to join local windbands. Also encourage them to go to workshops,either jazz or classical, so that they can gain as much experience as possible.
