Personal Description:

I am passionate about piano playing and the teaching of this amazing instrument. I have studied extensively with Professor of piano at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Penelope Roskell, author of “The Complete Pianist”- who is a specialist in healthy piano technique. I am a certified teacher of the Roskell Method and subsequently on the recommended teachers list for the Roskell Academy. I am currently training to become a Licenced Body Mapping Educator under the tutelage of Bridget Jankowski, author of the newly revised "What Every Musician needs to Know about the Body." I have also studied the Alexander Technique with Judith Kleinman. I have an LTCL piano performance diploma with distinction.

I have over 10 years of teaching experience. I am a member of EPTA UK.

Tutoring Approach:

I enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels, from beginners to diploma level, ensuring that the students are enjoying both the repertoire they are learning and the improvements that they are making to their technique and coordination. All lessons are tailored to what the student would like to personally achieve with this fascinating instrument. I offer an initial free 30 minute consultation lesson online.
