Personal Description:

Meet Anne **Removed By Admin**, a French versatile flautist and music teacher classically trained with MA degrees from the Haute Ecole de Musique (Geneva) and Conservatoire Royal (Brussels).

Born in France, Anne **Removed By Admin**is a keen versatile flautist player. Constantly exploring the horizons of music for the transverse flute, Anne enjoys playing on modern and historical flutes. She has performed across Europe, United Kingdom and United States.

When she discovered the wealth of historically informed performance with the copy of a baroque flute, Anne has been fascinated and specialised alongside orchestras including Theresia Orchestra, Dunedin Consort, London Handel, Britten-Pears baroque orchestra. She performed under the direction of Philippe Herreweghe, Christophe Coin, Jordi Savall, John Butt, and others at Wigmore Hall, Philharmonie de Paris, Théâtre du Châtelet, Victoria Hall.

Anne has MA degrees in modern and historical flutes from Royal Conservatoire of Brussels (distinction) and Haute École de musique of Geneva (highest distinction). During her master degree she also studied at the Royal Academy of Music of London (Erasmus exchange) and Royal Conservatoire of Liege.

Besides her musical vocation, Anne spent the last few years discovering different domains such as organic farming (WWOOF), mental health (ASD, depression), baking (French pastry) and languages (French Sign Language).

Throughout her musical journey, Anne developed a strong interest for educational work. Nowadays, she shares her musical experience and insights in the UK. Alongside a flautist career, Anne **Removed By Admin**enjoys playing cornetto and piano.

Tutoring Experience:

Anne has been teaching for 10 years in France and in the UK (music schools and private lessons).

Tutoring Approach:

TEACHING
Anne **Removed By Admin** teaches the music in her studio (King's Lynn). The music lessons are open to all levels and ages. Anne always makes sure all pupils with a desire to express themselves with the music can benefit from her class. She has a very strong attraction to intuitive learning and tend to guide her pupils toward self-awareness.

The tuitions can cover topics such as technique, sensitivity, tone, intonation, breathing, building confidence, flute evolution, traditions, specificity of the flute, playing with others and playing for others. She also plays along with the flute or the piano and guides students to find intuition and self-awareness. Anne noticed that this is valuable for growing confidence, interest and understanding.

Anne is very flexible and will tailor the lessons with you, depending of your requests, goals and needs. Beside the classique & baroque musique repertoire, she will also be happy to teach you different kinds of music, for instance, pop, jazz, traditional. In addition to the individual lesson, Anne encourages her pupils to play with others and organises classes for them to meet and play. Frequently, Anne organises informal projects for her pupils in her studio/public events (churches). You will be welcome to come, perform, listen and/or meet other flautists/musicians. In any case, Anne makes sure you always feel comfortable and reach your goal(s) with the music.
