Personal Description:

I am an experienced voice and drama teacher, and I pride myself in finding the right approach for everyone. Because of my training in both classical and contemporary singing I am confident that I can plan a lesson that will cater to your needs, whether it’s audition preparation, vocal training or just casual singing. Singing should be enjoyable, fun and healthy, and I am here to help you find the right approach to ensure it happens.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a long experience as a teacher in London, for the past 10 years as a singing, drama and music teacher, and choir director. I have experience in working with ages ranging from eight-year-olds till people in their late forties, and I love being able to ignte the passion for music and singing in my students.

I have always found teaching to be the best way of being able to comprehend a subject, so I am very happy to share my craft with my students, and thus keep making sure that I never stop learning myself. Apart from my private singing students, I have been lucky to teach in many Musical Theatre schools in Barcelona and London offering my choir direction, or my music and singing teacher abilities.

Tutoring Approach:

I have been training in singing for the past seven years, with different singing teachers, which has enabled me to get a very complete vision of the craft. I have done the Estill Voice System course (Levels I and II) twice in my musical theatre training and by myself, and I also hold a grade 8 ABRSM singing degree, as well as a grade 5 Practical Musicianship and Music Theory. I have also extensive experience in ensemble and choir singing, and would be willing to extend my learning to better suit your needs. I believe in a holistic, integrated approach to singing, which involves the support from the whole body to make sure that the larynx is not put under too much pressure and thus provide a free, released and healthy sound. Being a very empathetical person and also having trained as an actor, I connect very well with students, and try to provide what they need at every moment in their development. My drama training comes from a long experience in performance, and recently have completed a MA in the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
