Personal Description:

Passionate about music and sharing my experience with my students.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching full time for over 10 years and i have helped my students achieve a qualification for life with over 80+ exam passes.

Tutoring Approach:

Due to the Corona virous outbreak I now offer online tutoring via Skype.I am now taking lessons in person as I now feel it is safe to do so, if you would rather do that. There are people who may not feel that exams are for them so with my past experience I can help them achieve what THEY want from learning an instrument.

I currently teach A.B.R.S.M exams (classical/jazz) from grades 1-8 in Saxophone, clarinet, flute and music theory.
A.B.R.S.M is the exam board of the Royal Schools of Music, delivering over 650000 music exams and assessments every year in 93 countries.

RGT is a great way of learning guitar with a structure to help you learn without feeling lost in too much information. There are exams (like in the A.B.R.S.M) where you get something out of it in the end and something you will have for the rest of your life!

RGT publishes a directory of registered electric, acoustic, classical, jazz guitar teachers and bass teachers in the UK and overseas.
A good guitar teacher can save you years of struggling, by showing you how to do things the best way from the start.
I teach improvisation which gives you the skills required to play without written music ,to compose instantly using your mind and your ears.
Improvisation is an important part of music from blues, jazz, pop and rock. To have a grounded knowledge on how to improvise is a great way to free yourself in contemporary music.
