Information About Andrea - Acton teacher

Personal Description:

I have been playing guitar for more than 12 years and teaching the instrument for more than 6.
I'm from Italy, but I moved to the UK in 2009, after winning a scolarship to study music at Tech Music Schools in London, where I graduated in 2010 receiving a Diploma in Guitar Performance.
Over the years I have joined different bands and toured Italy and UK. I'm also playing and composing songs with my rock band Future Shock.
In 2012 I have been nominated 'Best Individual Perfomer" by Playmusic Magazine, and in the same year I got an endorsement deal with the guitar company "Fret King".

I have been teaching guitar privately and in schools in the UK. Among the teaching agencies I've worked for: West London Music Tutors, Artpeggios Music School, London Music Centre, Arts Academy Ltd, Concept Music Agency, etc… I am also experienced in preparing students for graded exams such as : Rockschool , ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall , up to grade 8.

I am a full member of the RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors)

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching guitar privately and in music schools for more than 6 years.
I started teaching privately in Italy and carried on in the UK when I moved to London in 2009.
I am experienced in teaching all ages and all styles, whether you are a beginner or not.
I can teach a variety of styles and techniques including: rock, heavy metal, blues, funk, pop, classical, acoustic, flamenco.
I am also experienced in graded exams. I can prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool exams.

Tutoring Approach:

My lessons are engaging and motivating. They cover a variety of subjects such as techniques, styles, theory, rhythm, harmony, etc… If you are a beginner I can guide you step by step in learning the basics, I am patient and supportive. If you can already play I can help you to get better and set a practice routine.
I consider all student needs and requests.
