Personal Description:
I hold QTS and a Master of Arts in Music Education. I have been a Music teacher for 18 years. I have a passion for teaching and educating the young generation and providing music classes for adults. I am a well-rounded teacher who is flexible to each student's needs and goals. Also, I hold ARSM in Piano and Grade 8 in Singing, and can confidently teach students in high grades.
Tutoring Experience:
Whether you are looking for a teacher to inspire your child in piano or you may be an adult that wishes they took up piano in the past. Or perhaps you want to pick up where you left off! Whatever your reason for picking up lessons, I tailor the lesson to suit the individual and get the best out of the student at a pace suited to you.
Tutoring Approach:
Piano lessons
-Develop your brain, inspire your left and right brains, and train your coordination on your left and right hands in order to help your whole brain development.
-Build up your foundation of playing piano, such as finger gestures, recognizing notes from staves, rhythm, musical mind, etc.
- Set a short target for each lesson and a long-term goal for students, and complete the goal gradually.
- suggest 45mins or 60mins for a lesson (depends on your level)
-Lesson in tutor's home.
Music theory
Aim at ABRSM Grade 5 music theory exam. Around 20 lessons complete the curriculum. Provide practice paper.
