Personal Description:
I am a young professional Composer, Sound Designer and Producer private one to one tutoring from my West London studio.
I have a BA in Digital Music and Sound Art and have been producing for over 7 years touring the UK and West Coast of USA with my music, playing at prestigious events and festival such as Low End Theory (LA), Secret Garden Party, Glade and Glastonbury festival.
My clients have previously included Channel 4, Greenpeace, Eric Prydz and Microsoft.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching for 3 years to people of varying skill and ability and ages between 14 - 30. Previous students have gone on to study MAs at Royal College of Music and Goldsmiths University.
Tutoring Approach:
Lessons include::
*Tutoring using Logic Pro or Ableton Live DAW
*Techniques and tips to create your preferred genre of music (Electronic, Hip-Hop, Dubstep, Glitch, Pop, DnB, Trap, etc.)
*Synthesis, FX and Plugins processing and automation
*Microphone recording and placement
*Sound for the moving image (Film scores and sound design)
*Drum programming and sampling techniques
I also teach a small dose of Experimental and Digital Music History as part of my lessons, imparting an open-minded philosophy to the creation and appreciation of music which I find lacks from most other tutors.
Lessons are intended to be fun as well as informative, the way music should be!
