In 2014, Abi was accepted into four different music colleges with scholarships and took her place at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in September 2015. She completed her undergraduate degree in 2019 and decided to continue her studies at the RNCM completing a masters degree in performance and music psychology in 2021.
Abi has performed with many orchestras over the years which include touring in Poland, Croatia, Barcelona, Belgium, and Russia. She played with the Britten-Shostakovich Festival Orchestra in 2019 which included a tour of Russia and the UK. In 2020, Abi was principal of the RNCM Symphony Orchestra and is currently principal of the Light Music Orchestra and Northern Film Orchestra which included credits on Netflix.
