Information About Zain - Manchester teacher

Personal Description:

PhD candidate at the University of Salford experienced in tutoring Spanish. I am enthusiastic to teach and passionate about learning languages! I am a native English speaker and fluent in Spanish, with experience in translating for non-profit organisations.

Teaching Experience:

I have previously had teaching experience through 2 charitable organisations in Zambia and Nicaragua. Additionally, I have worked as a English-Spanish translator in Central America. In terms of tutoring, I have previously tutored 2 family friends in Maths who went on to achieve A* grades at GCSE and am currently teaching 3 friends Spanish.

Teaching Approach:

I encourage students to start speaking in Spanish as quickly as possible and my lessons focus on practical applications which are reinforced by grammar and vocabulary-based work.
I believe that the key to learning a language is to gain confidence! Consequently, remaining flexible and tailoring the learning experience to individual students is key to my approach.
