I am enthusiastic teacher, Ukrainian by birth and proud of my heritage. I would like to bring knowledge of my country, its language and Slavonic (Russian, Ukrainian) traditions to others.
I am happy to tutor individuals or small groups as well as corporate clients looking for a broader approach to improving the competency of their employees for business trips or social events.
Ph.D… Associate Professor (5 years University lecturing experience)
Qualified Teacher Status, Ukrainian Language and Literature
Certified to teach Russian as a foreign language, Moscow State University
Experience of individual tutoring in Ukrainian and Russian Language and Literature (10 years)
Russian, Ukrainian - native
My skills mean that I have the ability to take a dedicated and talented student from a fairly basic level to a high standard. I can just as easily take my student to any level of Russian or Ukrainian language, spoken or/and written, that we agree on.
Before any tutoring can take place it is essential to discuss with the student and agree what the proficiency target is. Our first meeting will involve an assessment of your skill level which will allow me to determine at what level I will be teaching you. I am prepared to use any acceptable teaching method including CDs, books and media such as Skype in addition to our more usual one-to-one tutoring.

She is extremely well prepared for the lessons - using a variety of media to keep lessons refreshing. Vlada always asks for input on what I would find most useful and interesting. She keeps the lessons challenging yet fun.
Prior to our first lesson, she discussed my previous knowledge of the language to ensure she was pitching the lessons at just the right level.
I am confident that with Vlada's help I will continue to improve.
