Information About Vivien - Brough teacher

Personal Description:

I am a 27-year-old English and Putonghua teacher from Hong Kong who has been at a secondary school for two years. I am a Cantonese and Mandarin native speaker. I have worked at a educational publisher before, where I was responsible for designing materials for and giving Cantonese and Mandarin lessons to staff members from England and the United States. While working as an English teacher later, I also gave private tuition on a weekly basis to three adult students from Australia. In the coming September, I am going to study a masters degree in Linguistics at the University of Leeds.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught Cantonese and Mandarin to British and American staff members at my previous position at an educational publisher. I have also got over three years' private tutoring experience.

Teaching Approach:

With three years' solid experience in teaching Mandarin as a second language, I have developed a full set of oral practising materials which focus on accuracy and fluency.
