Personal Description:
Teaching and learning are my passions, and I love to share them with others, whether it is in Languages, Psychology or other Social Sciences.
Teaching Experience:
I am Portuguese and have been living in the UK since 2010, working as a translator and a Languages and Education consultant, where I provide proofreading, editing, tutoring, among others.
Since 2015 I have also been teaching Adult Learning courses for my local council in Portuguese and Social Sciences alongside teaching as self-employed and to several language learning companies.
Teaching Approach:
Teaching can be more than just a job and for me it is truly a calling.
I am passionate about supporting my learners as they develop their skills.
My aim is always to ensure my learners succeed not only at their immediate challenges but also be better prepared for future ones. Also, learning can and should be fun and exciting!
To achieve this I create bespoke class plans suitable to individual levels, current skills and goals. I aim to provide a bespoke service which actually fulfills students' needs.

I am an Undergraduate in Portuguese so we had weekly lessons throughout my fourth year at University. Each lesson would be tailored to my needs. We would go over anything that I was struggling with, or anything that she noticed I could work on, which I thought was useful and something that is hard to find in a tutor I found. We practised every aspect of the language and she was always great at clearing up any questions. She helped me so much and was able to give me much more attention than my tutors at Uni. Couldn’t recommend her enough if you want to learn Portuguese!
