Personal Description:
I'm an undergrad student pursuing Mechanical Engineering in the UK. I completed my O Levels and A Levels in Singapore. I have completed the Tamil Language and Literature course in GCE A Levels. I have also attended multiple workshops to improve my skills in the Language (ie Tamil Typing, Tamil Grammar, Debate, etc). I have presented a few papers in Tamil during my high school days (ie. Food is a form of Medication, Tamil in Southeast Asia).
Teaching Experience:
Taught Tamil to O Level students in Singapore. Prepared syllabus resources for my students and my secondary school as an alumni.
Teaching Approach:
I have my resources as soft copies and have categorised them into sections based on difficulty levels. Starting from primary, secondary and college-level syllabi to in-depth grammar and literature of Tamil language resources are readily available. I also focus on teaching various forms of Tamil writing (ie essays, emails, articles, journals, etc). Separate oral-based pictures and texts will be used to help improve communication skills in students.
