Personal Description:
I am a native Greek speaker and I have been living in Bristol, UK since 2014 when I started my PhD at the University of Bristol. During my studies, I have been teaching Modern Greek which I enjoy very much!
Teaching Experience:
2014-present: Tutoring of 6 students at Bristol in Latin Language (GCSE) & Modern Greek
2017-2018: Assistant Teacher, University of Bristol, Department of Classics and Ancient History
2016: Classroom Assistant, Orchard School, Filton, Bristol
2006-2014:Tutoring of more than 30 High-School students in Greece
Subjects: Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, Latin, Literature & History (preparation for National University Entrance Exams)
Teaching Approach:
My approach combines a variety of methods: specific methods about how Modern Greek can be learnt and student-centred methods regarding the special interests and learning styles of the individual.
