Personal Description:
I am a native French speaker and I have been living in England for 20 years.
I am a very enthusiastic person and I am passionate about my own language.
Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified secondary school teacher with 11 years experience (from year 7 to year 13). I am currently working in a school in Wiltshire as a French conversation teacher ( working mainly with GCSE and A level students) and I also tutor some students privately.
I have also taught primary school children.
Teaching Approach:
I am very approachable and patient and always keen to improve my students' learning whether it is to pass an exam or so that they become more confident speaking French.

From Richard (/5): Madame is a brilliant tutor. I have no previous experience in languages but Valerie is patient with me and very good at explaining things to ensure that I understand. She checks to make sure that the lessons are not too hard nor too easy and I am thoroughly enjoying learning. I have nothing negative to say about Valerie, and I hope that she remains my tutor for the next few years.
My daughter needed extra support to help with her French GCSE, and Valerie was extremely helpful preparing her for her exams. I would definitely recommend Valerie to other parents in a similar situation.
