Information About Teresa - Glasgow teacher

Personal Description:

My name is Teresa and I am a professional musician with a Bachelor and a Masters degrees in performance. Alongside my work as a performer I have always tutored languages and so have over 6 years of experience in teaching Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching language lessons to students of a wide range of ages and levels of ability - preparing students for exams and so on - since 2017 and have also worked in a language school for 3 years.
I have experience teaching conversational, grammar and literature and culture lessons in Portuguese (my native language) and have also taught English as a second lesson as well as given Spanish conversation classes.

Teaching Approach:

Students are all different so I always talk with them in order to understand what they really want. Do they want to take more time and learn in more detail the foundation and the grammar of the language or are their goals improving their conversational skills and survival? I listen with great care to what they want and adapt my teaching to suit their requirements.
