Information About Susannah - Sheffield teacher

Personal Description:

I am a Modern Languages student at the University of Sheffield who is passionate about learning and teaching Spanish, German and French. I'm currently in my third year and I recieved first class honours in both first and second year. Additionally, I have received multiple academic prizes in the department of languages from my university. I have studied Spanish and German for over 10 years and recently completed a university placement in France. I have achieved A* at A-Level and GCSE in Spanish and German, so I know what the exam boards are looking for. I can help you with anything you are uncertain of in a friendly, no-pressure environment.

Teaching Experience:

I have volunteered at King Edward VII secondary school as a languages assistant. Whilst working there, I prepared materials to be used in class, held conversation classes and carried out mock speaking exams. I also have a DBS check.

Teaching Approach:

I am a friendly and approachable tutor and will do my best to ensure that our sessions will be relaxed and low-pressure. If there are any issues that you want to focus on, I can tailor our sessions to your own particular needs and preferences. If you are studying for a specific qualification such as GCSe or A-Level, let me know which exam board you are with and I will customise our lesson content to conform with their requirements. I can help you with grammar, speaking, reading comprehension, writing and vocabulary. If there isn't any particular area that you want to focus on, I will incorporate all of these elements into our actvities.
